I would like to try this recipe, but one of the reviewers commented on the amount of water 3 cups. Is this a typo error and does the recipe really need 3 cups of water for the sauce????????????

This isn't the first time I've used one of Gale Gand's recipes to discover that it simply doesn't work. The 3 cups of water doesn't make a sauce at all; it makes a mess and to pour all that water over the brownies makes them soggy.
