These looked good but ended up throwing them out. The crushed pretzels and peanuts made them very dry.

I was really excited to try these. They look really good, combo of the salty and sweet, no having to make individual cookies. But, they turned out to be mediocre. If I was to try these again, I would delete the crushed pretzels in the mix and just put broken pieces on the top. I would also chop the peanuts a bit, instead of leaving them whole. The crushed pretzels in the dough made the final texture of the bar sandy, at least that's what I think caused it. I was hoping for ooey-gooey and soft and chewy - not crumbly and sandy. I baked them for the lowest amount of time and they were not too dark, so I'm satisfied they were not over-baked. My oven has proven to be reliable in the past. Try tweaking it a bit if you dare and you might like the outcome.

These were a big hit - so big i made them twice in one week! Super easy to make and the mix of salty and sweet was divine. I'll be making these all year round.
