Ingredients
- 1/2 cup wheat flour
- 2 1/2 cups white flour
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped spinach
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 3/4 cup water
- Garnishes: sesame seeds, minced dried garlic or poppy seeds
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine dry ingredients and then wet. Mix, then knead by hand. Form into ping pong ball size pieces. Flatten, then poke hole in center. Form into bagel shapes. Bake for approximately 45 to 50 minutes.
Cool. Serve. To garnish, spray finished bagels with water and sprinkle with sesame seeds, minced dried garlic or poppy seeds
