In addition to the sliced garlic, tuck thinly sliced shallots into the slits and add chives to the sour cream!

These are great. I didn't have any trouble with the cooking time as others have suggested--they took exactly what the recipe suggested. The only problem I had was that I guess I cut the garlic too thick, and some of the slices popped out of the potatoes, and burned a little on top--but that was a minor issue. Next time I'll make sure they're thin enough. They were still wonderful. Everyone loved them. Thanks!

We had a "Thanksgiving" dinner one night because we love the type of food so much. I am 13, and I made these potatoes. They were soooo good, especially with the turkey gravy on them. The sour cream was so-so, only because I have never liked it. Well, anyways, I highly reccomend this recipe for any typr of dinner!!

the potatoes were very good, the only problem is the same with alot of the recipes I have gotten off of the food network is the cooking time. It took twice as long as the recipe called for.

While I loved it, my husband was less than impressed. But I would agree with some of you, it is basically a baked potato with a twist. But a delicious one at that.
these are so easy, good for a meal for lunch all by themselves.

This is one the entire family enjoys. It's easy to make, and they look nice. The full side (herbed sour cream and all goes especially well with steak.

These are pretty easy to make but I wasn't wowed. My husband was impressed with the appearance and loved the garlic. But at the end of the day, it's a baked potato. Also the recipe said to bake at 400 but on the show, she put the chicken in with the potatoes --- to cook at the same time. Well the chicken recipe called for 425. So I kinda winged it and let 'em cook for just under an hour. Basically this is a neat twist on a baked potato.
