These potatoes are so yummy. Everyone loved them. Even my husbad liked them and he is not a big baked potato fan. He also liked the Herbed sour cream, he is not a fan of sour cream either. I will probably use less garlic in them next time. I love garlic, but the flavor was a liitle strong for me. I will be making these again real soon.

These potatoes were out of this world! Fairly easy to prepare and the sour cream was delicious. They were a good alternative to a baked potato with the filets I fixed for Valentine's. I will definitely be making them again.

OMG! These are just the best baked potatoes going! I modified the recipe by adding small-dice onions and fresh chopped parsley to the olive oil/butter mixture. Spoon this over them before you serve. Since my husband is not a fan of "seeing" garlic in his food, I substituted thin onion strands between the potatoe slices for him. He just loved it. Love Sunny's show because her recipes are "cooking for real." Thanks for this one!

This potatoes were awesome! I halved the recipe, and it was perfect. The potatoes reminded me of a baked potato in the middle, but a roasted potato on the outside. I used 3 very thin slices of garlic, and it was the perfect amount of garlic--not too overpowering. The herbed sour cream was a great finishing touch. This recipe is definitely going to be a fequent side dish at my house!!

These potatoes were simple to make and delicious! I sliced the garlic lengthwise to get them to stay in the potatoes. Next time I will use more garlic and other seasonings.

I first saw this done by Robert Irvine on Paula Deen's show. After cutting the potatoes, he dusted them in flour. I added paprika, salt and pepper to the flour and then poured melted butter over them before baking for an hour. The end result was crisp and caramelized on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. Sunny's sour cream topping put them over the top.

I had never thought about making potatoes this way. What a great suprise!!! I used dried herbs for the sour cream instead of fresh and I think it was still just as good. Will definitely be making this recipe again.
