We eat ALOT of fish in our household and carry this over into camping. We were recently at a festival and I was cooking this in the skillet when our tent neighbors came over to check out the great smell and asked if I was a chef..."Nope, just a foodie who loves to cook tasty things." All the ingredients are easily accessible and dont spoil easily. Also works well with swordfish and other solid white fish. Also good wine box chard or savi works great and helps break the ice with tent neighbors. Eat on!

I made this for my husband that doesn't eat a lot of fish and he loved it. We will be having this again. The only thing I did different was add less butter so that it was a little more healthy.

Did not use lemon, but did add cherry tomatos. I pulled the Mahi out and sauteed the garlic a bit and deglazed the pan with the white wine, added butter and added
halved cherry tomatoes. Very simple and did not mask over the flavor of the Mahi.

...Can't ask for more than that. Most everyone has white wine, garlic, lemon and butter around the house. Quick meal to make and my whole family liked it--even my fishy fussy husband. I added some of my red Hawaiian salt, which is always great on fish.

I used lime instead of lemon and it turned out great!

The only thing I did differnently was that I marinated the Mahi Mahi filets for about 30 minutes in a garlic mojo style marinade. I then patted fish dry and followed the recipe (a liitle extra garlic - it was excellent! Served with basmati rice.

My husband and I really enjoyed it. It was simple to prepare, didn't call for anything i didn't already have on hand, and it was delicious.

Despite the last review, I decided to try this recipe anyway. It was just ok, nothing spectacular about it. I was looking for a killer recipe and this definitely wasn't it. But it was simple to make.

Followed the recipe to a T. It was bland. I just assumed with garlic, wine and butter, this would be a delicious way to try Mahi Mahi for the first time.
The sad thing is, I'll probably never buy Mahi Mahi again, because this recipe was so disappointing.
Served it with garlic oil roasted red potatoes with rosemary, that was out of this world, and a Caesar salad. Thankfully they saved the meal from being totally tasteless
