Good, but you may want to omit the red pepper flakes. My family found the broccoli to be too spicy. The garlic and oil is really all you need.

While I thought this recipe was bit bland my teenage girls just loved it. I only put a pinch of the red pepper flakes. They piled lots of freshly grated parmesan on top and cleaned their plates. I made this with all the dishes from this episode, each was a hit.

I've made this a few times with minor modifications. I followed the recipe exactly the first time, but realized that I wanted it as the main course and not just a side...so I've added chicken as well as a variety of vegetables. I find that my favorite is sauteed mushrooms, asparagus, and chicken.

Some people said that they thought it was a little dry...I like my pasta a little on the lighter side, and I find that with a bit of saved pasta water it is the perfect amount of moisture. And I find that the garlic and red pepper infused oil is a fantastic flavor that really can liven up a plain dish.

This was wonderful and easy to make. Loved the flavors. Had some leftovers and I ate it until it was gone. Definitely adding it to my list! I'm ready for a Melissa D'Arabian cookbook! She is the perfect FN host, cook and tip giver. Never a better winner of that show!!!

Yummy! I made it with whole wheat pasta. Next time I'm going to try it with asparagas. If you find it a bit dry, Melissa suggested to add more hot water (that works great. I also tried adding a bit of chicken stock which works well, too. Great side dish for company, too!

I made this entire menu and it was all great. I used frozen broccoli and left chopped garlic in the pan (vs. putting in cloves and removing them. It was so good. Don't know how someone could say it was bland with cayanne pepper. I'm not a lover of tomato based sauces, so I always love a recipe that gives me both a new sauce that is delicious ands keeps the healthy veggies in the mix.

It was very easy to make and a good basis for a pasta side dish. The broccoli soaked the flavor in very nicely, but the pasta tasted a touch bland
