Special equipment: a punch bowl and crazy straws, optional
Mix the apple cider, maple syrup, pear puree, lemon juice and cinnamon together in a large cocktail shaker and dry-shake until the cinnamon is properly incorporated. Transfer the mixture to a small punch bowl with a large chunk of ice (see Cook's Note) and stir until chilled.
For the kids: Ladle into mason jars, top with sparkling non-alcoholic cider, add a crazy straw and serve.
For the adults: Ladle into small glasses with ice and top with hard cider.
To make a large ice cube, freeze water in a plastic or metal bowl slightly smaller than the punch bowl.
