This is an AMAZING recipe! I make it for Thanksgiving every year and only hear praises for it.

came out runny.. tried to reduce the liquid but haven't got it down yet.. but behold everyone loves them! they all want the reciepe! even those who hated sweet patato's! they don't look very pretty either...but they go fast!

Tastes to much like a desert - very sweet and little too saucy. We had the feeling if that if we took out the potatos and switched them from bread, we would have been eating bread pudding. The desert tasting side dish did not go well with our meal. Would not recommend.

After cooking this it came out really soupy. I would use half the liquid called for. Flavor was good but the Kahlua was a little too strong.

Perhaps the ratio of liquids to potato is incorrect. This recipe delivers an unappetising soupy mess.

I followed George's updated directions and they turned out SOOOO good! This is my new favorite way to eat sweet potatoes. I don't use liquor to cook so I bought some flavored syrups (hazelnut and caramel an mixed them which worked out so perfectly!

I made these for our Thanksgiving meal today. The flavor was out of this world! I made the recipe as is, but before adding the marshmallows I whipped the potoatoes and liquid in a blender to make a fluffy casserole style dish. Then I added the marshmallows and put it under the broiler, and it was just beautiful. The Khalua adds a whole new twist for a delicious dish!
