Recipe made as per directions and were hoping for the best. Upon eating this it left us with a feeling of "wanting more". The overrall taste lacked chocolate-icity. Also, using mascarpone cheese would be better along with puff pastry. It was better left to eat with your eyes..than to follow this recipe. Also noted!!! DO NOT use paper towels to dry noodles as per instructions, unless you want to spend time peeling paper towel fragments off the lasagna noodles.

Everyone at work liked the lasagna. It thougt it was "ok", but not the bomb. It was missing something. There wasn't enough of the chocolate flavor despite a full bag of dark chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of cocoa. The ricotta cheese was okay with the chocolate, but the texture overall was a bit lacking and off putting. Personally I think it would have been better if done with tempered chocolate mixed with cream cheese, heavy cream, powered sugar, cocoa and the egg along with vanilla extract or other flavoring and layered between puff pastry. Might have to try that. If not puff pastry, maybe a light pastry crust....

My initial rating would be two stars, but since everyone at work really liked it I will average it out to three stars. However, I won't be making this one again.

Like others before me I wish I had read the reviews before making. Recipe was easy to follow, but was I unsure whether it should be served hot or cold. We added whipped cream and that ended up being the best part. My husband said it was a waste of good chocolate....

This recipe sounded so good but I didn't read the previous reviews before I tried it. I now wished I had. It was very easy to make but tasted terrible.

I made this recipe to take to a party on labor day...it was beautiful, but tasted horrible.

I followed the directions perfectly, and it turned out like it looked on TV, but every one in my house thought it tasted bad.

I didn't even take it with me to the party, it tasted so bad. Went straight to the trash.
