Just like with a roast or leg of lamb the Self Basting is Great. Plus it frees up the Oven, Stovetop & Microwave for other items that need to cook at the same time - as well as keeping the kitchen much cooler! One thing I'd add is a meat thermometer with an indoor temp. indicator. Thanks!
