Like another reviewer, thought these would be either very bad or delicious. And I agree, they are truly good. Different. Had no problem with them other than mine did not melt down much like the picture, the dough just softened a little, but stayed round. Interesting cookie. Try it.

I made them for an office party and they disappeared!

They're a little time consuming, but totally worth it! I tend to cut back a touch on the pepper otherwise its too strong.

These are probably one of my new favorite cookies, I absolutely loved them! The combination of flavors are wonderful. One of my favorite things about the recipe is that you can add and modify if you'd like to; I've added parmesean cheese, dry pesto mix, extra lemon...and in the future plan on trying some toasted pine nuts. I really like that instead of butter, you use olive oil...helps justify eating too many: As with most cookies, they are divine right out of the oven when they are still warm. But they keep well for a few days as well. If you have gotten this far into investigating the recipe, and are contemplating doing it, you should definitely give them a try!

this is a delicious and surprising cookie that is very easy to bake. though it sounds savory, this would not make a good side dish, it is definitely dessert. for those who don't like it very sweet a tiny bit less sugar might be good. also extra milk and/or oil might make it easier to work with if the dough id too crumbly. I love these cookies!

With the lemon-herb blend, these are perfect for summer get-togethers! The secret is to only bake for 10-11 minutes and they will turn out so soft and fluffy!

It's as weird as it sounds. Nothing like a cookie, nothing like a biscuit. The lemon doesn't save it and probably nothing else will, either.

Good cookie. First the lemony flavor comes through strong, then a hint of the olive oil and thyme, then the zing of the pepper comes through in the end. A different cookie.

So delicious, and so easy. These were a huge hit at home and at the office. A nice light flavor which balances out a heavy meal, with unique tastes you wouldn't expect in a cookie. Everyone is addicted!

I am not a baker and really do not like sweets nor did I even see this show. I just read the title and said either this will be awful or the best cookie in the world. The are "old world" easy to make and the number one in my Christmas cookie collection.
