These cookies are amazing. They taste delicious and I always have canned pumkin and choc. chips laying around so that when I get a craving I can make them.
However, the only bad thing about them is that they are very muffin or cake like. I use only 2 cups of flour when I make them and that helps a little. Maybe I should just pour the batter into paper cups and bake them like cupcakes from now on. Who knows. I hope I get it right some day. BTW... They taste amazing dipping in a cup of coffee!

I made these for a party and actually I thought they were just all right, not chewy enough for me. But everyone at the party went CRAZY for them and kept telling me how awesome they were. I guess I had about thirty cookies and twelve guests all the cookies were gone by the end of the night and I had two ladies tell me they broke their diets to eat them. Wow!

I have made these cookies over and over again and they are just wonderful. I have even used 1 cup of whole wheat flour and 2 cups of regular, just to make it a tad bit healthier, and they come out just as light and fluffy and awesome. Everyone will enjoy:

I've made these a few times and they always turn out great. I noticed after I had made them once or twice that the recipe calls for pumpkin puree, while I had been accidentally buying and using pumpkin pie mix, which is similar but has some spices in it. Once I made the cookies with just straight up pumpkin puree, they were still good but not as pumpkin-pie like as they had been before. So I'd say if you want to make these better and taste more like pumpkin pie, use pumpkin pie mix instead of just pumpkin puree.

We used whole wheat flour, and substituted 1/2c applesauce for 1/2c butter and then added a 1/4c extra pumpkin and it was awsome. light and moist.

I had to make some substitutions: smart balance for butter, sweet potato for pumpkin, semi-sweet for milk chocolate, but still the basic batter was delicious. It created a cake like cookie with a delicate buttery "crust". I also added chopped pecans as I didn't have enough chocolate. I will make these again for sure. They would probably be good with other additions as well.

AMAZING and delicious! Much better than regular chocolate chip cookies, even though that's hard to imagine, but it's TRUE!!! It's already become a tradition in my family (my cousins and I almost always make them when we see each other for family gatherings. They are LIFECHANGING

I made a half-batch of these for myself but accidentally added the full amount of pumpkin. The cookie turned out amazing - very moist with a lot of pumpkin flavor (especially the second day. Next time I'll increase the spice mixture a bit, but otherwise loved these with the extra pumpkin. I also used semisweet chips as they have more rich chocolate flavor than the milk chocolate.

My name is Kate and I am addicted to cookies. These are the best cookies I've ever had. I couldnt stop eating them when they came out of the oven. I ate so many I gave myself a belly ache. If you want to impress people with your cookie making skills, try these. Very very yummy.
