Brussel sprouts tasted great.I enjoyed the show- too bad it is shown so late at night or too early in the morning.
Try to schedule this program in the afternoon around dinner time.

    Oh Man!
These are spectacular! Better than the boring steamed brussels that I have made in the past! The balsamic vinegar and herbs give it that wonderful kick! I will make this often. My husband loves brussels, begs for them all the time. Well...he was enjoying every bite of these and I know that this will be the favorite recipe from now on!
Thanks for sharing this recipe with us George!

The brussel sprouts burned in the first 20 minute cooking time. The excess marinade burned to a gunky mess in the roasting pan. The sprouts I could eat did not have a good flavor. Overall, I failure. I am happy I made it just for myself. Would have been a disaster had I tried to make it for guests.

We priced pine nuts at a national-brand grocer and found 3 oz, about what was needed, was $5, so we decided against them. Instead, we replaced them with (much less expensive sunflower kernels. When plating, we also sprinkled dried cranberries on the roasted Brussels sprouts. Same result as Becky from Texas: Even Brussels sprout haters loved them.
