This rub is fantastic! It's great on the beer can chicken, but I've also used the rub on fish, pork chops, and chicken wings. My husband wants to try ribs next. It's great on almost anything! Five stars!

Just made this last night in the oven. Simple recipe. The rub had all spices that I keep in the pantry. Chicken was very moist and the flavor of the rub was perfect. Used a 4 pound chicken and cooked for 1-1/2 hours.

Loved the spice combination. First time I've ever eaten the skin too. I rubbed the spice under the skin so the meat would carry the flavor in case my guests didn't want to eat the skin. It worked.

My husband loved this! We cooked it a long time and it was still moist - recommend using the full recipe of spices on the chicken - I used only 1/3 and it was not enough. Chicken does not taste like beer and be careful because there is still beer left in the can!

Very easy and VERY tasty. 1,000 times better than any store bought rotiserie chix and less expensive. Used what I did not eat the first time (the breast meat to make great BBQ chix on the grill! Enjoy!!

I used Coke plus the rub and it came out extremely moist. My wife loved the rub, but I cooked it in the oven so there was a bit more smoke because of the oil. Otherwise it was perfect. Thanks

The olive oil in the rub started a fire in my grill. I'm wondering if you are really supposed to use oil. I had to shut down the grill, remove the chicken and wash off the rub to save the chicken.

This was awesome! I added some lemon juice to the rub and a sprig of rosemary, sage, and oregeno to the beer can. The house smelled delicious and the chicken tasted even better! I will definately be making this regularly!!!

This was a delicious, EASY recipe. The spice rub would make a tennis shoe taste good. The chicken was so tender and incredibly moist - amazing. Can't say enough good things about this recipe. Stop looking at other beer can chicken recipes and use this one!!
