My cookies didn't come out like in the picture... but they are yummy. They aren't as thick as the cookies I usually make, but the flavor is good. I was able to get away with only baking for 10 minutes.

The cookies, I thought, were rather a bit too rich. THey were too salty and the dough was not bland enough to balance out the chocolate. I thought they were too rich, they gave me a stomach ache also.

This is just the kind of chocolate chip cookie that I like. I did bake them less time than specified, more like 10-12 minutes, since we like them chewy. I was a little short on the amount of chocolate chips and so substituted a 1/2 cup of butterscotch chips which we liked a lot. I am replacing my old stand-by recipe with this one.

I make these all the time, and they are really wonderful. I use 3/4 brown sugar and 3/4 cup of white, which equals to the total sugar in the recipe. My grandkids think that they are "awesome"!!!!

The cookie itself is a GREAT ONE! Just like my grandmothers when I was growing up! And just like hers, these are FLAT! Think frisbee disk flat! I use three cups of flour along with ensuring that all other necessary items are at room tempature to make sure all can combine well!

Again, give 'em a try, YOU WILL LOVE THEM!

I've tried many, many chocolate chip cookie recipes and this one is by far the best. I love the crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside.
