Ingredients

Directions

Soak the bread crumbs in the milk while you prepare the other ingredients.

Put the beef and pork into a large bowl. Add the onion, butter, eggs, and parsley and season well with salt and pepper. Put the soaked bread crumbs into the bowl and mix it all together well with your (clean) hands. Form the mixture into meatballs about the size of ping pong balls.

Heat about 1/4-inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the meatballs until they are browned on all sides and cooked through, about 15 minutes.

I found this recipe to be superb in terms of juicienes. I substitued some of the meat and added 12 oz of Italian sausage out of the case, I also substituded scalions for the onion 5 scallions, I added 1/4 cup of Italian shredded cheese. I baked it in the oven (convection at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. The oven step made it less fattening, the sausage was added because my meat was short 12 oz. The italian cheese I added for flavor (Sargento

Very nice, definately moist and juicy like the recipe says. I recommend this recipe to everyone, - it's definately my Number 1 meatball recipe! I serve it on rice with a sweet & sour sauce... delishimo.
