My husband thought I was crazy when I read this recipe to him and said I wanted to try it! After reading the other reviews he reluctantly agreed. It is now his favorite dog of all time!! Neither of us can get enough of these things!

I have these nights when i must be hungry and dream about food. Not often but I do. Well I woke up wanting one of these hot dogs. Made them a few years ago for a picnic and loved them. I am a very healthy eater and only had them once but I have a craving for them right now. I have never had a hot dog like this one. I read the reviews and saw that someone used potato sticks. Might try that but afraid to stray from the original recipe. This is a must try recipe. You won't be sorry. The flavors are great together. Who would of thought of mayo on a dog. And then there is the crunch. My belly is singing right now. Gotta go to the store! Try these, you'll never go back to original blah!!!

Being born and living a few years in Caracas, my dad would take me to a hot dog stand and get me a hot dog that included all the ingredients you just provided and till this day 20 something years later, I craved to return just to have a hot dog from Caracas, Venezuela! Thank you for sharing this recipe to everyone!

Doesn't matter if you use a fork or your hands...this recipe is a winner in my opinion! To the reviewer who rated this 1 star because of HOW you ate this...stars are awarded for TASTE!!! NOT the method in which the food is eaten...but since you brought it up, try eating with your hands...adds a little saltiness to your dish!!!
George...keep up the good work. LOVE your recipes!
