Unbelievable!!!! Will make it again and again. The homemade scampi butter is to die for. Didn't love or hate the avocado, but I'll leave it off next time though. Well done, Chef Stella!!!

I have never written a review before, but this dish deserves one. I started making this dish a couple of years ago, sometimes with all ingredients listed, other times with what I had on hand, and it is devoured every time! Linguini works best with kids and they tend to pick out the avacado chunks, but thats what makes the dish. Watch the butter, make sure you use "UNSALTED" with the kosher salt. If you only have salted, cut out the kosher. I also use 2 pounds of the smaller shrimp, that way you get shrimp in every bite and the kids don't fight over the shrimp. Think I'll make it for dinner tonight!

I was looking for a quick, easy recipe that would impress my new boyfriend. This one was absolutely perfect! I used whole wheat linguini instead of the spaghetti squash and it was absolutely delicious! Bravo!

This would have been wonderful but it has you put a whole tablespoon of Kosair salt in the butter. I had to throw the whole dish out. This is an error because the sauce would have wonderful.

Really excellent flavors in the sauce!!! Followed the recipe exactly except baked squash in oven instead of boiling. Love the refreshing lemon taste with the cheese and avacado. Yum!

This was one of the easiest and most delicious recipes I've ever cooked!!!! It all blended so well together, from the nuttiness of the squash to the scampi to the buttery avacado!!!!! No complaints at all!! Next time will probably use a butter substitute r/t healthiness, but otherwise no suggestions!! Is definitely going in the repeat file!!!

I'm not sure what all the comments are when it seems that folks left out the spaghetti squash or left out the shrimp. What's up with that? This recipe is awesome! Follow the recipe...it's quick, simple, healthy if you substitue soy butter for regular butter and delicious! I came back to search for it again as I just Love it George! Thanks

I had a couple of avocados to use before I went on a trip, so searched avocado and pasta & found this. Used pasta b/c spaghetti squash is unavailable in Sydney (transplanted NYer. Very tasty, flavours work really well together. Easy & delish! Can't wait to put it in the regular rotation with spaghetti squash. BTW, when I lived on LI, I would cut the spaghetti squash in half and microwave it til soft enough. If you scrape it out with a fork it will string up quite nicely. :
