This was so easy and so fast it could be made any night or under any pressure conditions.... and best of all it was delicious! When I saw George demonstrate it, I thought in my kitchen it would be harder and take longer. I was happily wrong. I did vary the recipe by using regular canned black beans. (Variation was because I don't have the courage to try soy black beans. - - Maybe I will yet.

This meal is such an easy meal to put together and is incredibly tasty. The Blackenend spice recipe is wonderful and I believe I will enjoy using it in a few chicken dishes as well. Thanks.

I LIKE salmon but THIS WAS AMAZING now I LOVE it! You really do have to adjust the salt though! I only used 1 1/2 tablespoons but kept everything the same and it was great. If you use the salt called for you will ruin the meal. I also used regular black beans! Great! You have to try it! I also had to put a a lid on at the end to get the spinach to cook with out the salmon overcooking!

This was a good tasting recipe to make, and a fast one as well. I was a little apprehensive about the soy black beans, as we are big fans of black beans but have never tried the soy one. They were pretty good! Also, I did not use the blackened seasoning. (I didn't want all the smoke. I have my own cajun seasonings that I use for everything and it was great in this recipe.

Like most others here, I cut back on the salt and still found the blackening rub to be too salty. Use no more the 1 1/2 tablespoons. I guess my salmon fillets were a bit thicker than called for in the recipe because they were nowhere near cooked after the alloted searing time in the frying pan. I finished it off in the oven. All in all, a tastey dish....as long as you cut back on the salt!!!!

Tasty, easy- use common sense with the salt. Obviously recipe calls for too much.
