I used half of the kosher salt for the seasoning and it was still too salty. I'd cut the salt down to 1 1/2. The salmon, soy beans and spinach were great. I would use twice or three times as much spinach as called for. This is a easy and good meal.

I did use kosher salt for the seasoning and it was still way too salty. I'd cut the salt in half. I'm going to take the extra seasoning and run it through a fine sieve to take out some of the salt (but I'll have to add back more thyme I guess. Otherwise, the salmon and spinach were great. I wasn't crazy about the soy beans, I'd probably skip that step next time. I used twice as much spinach as called for (it cooks way down and served sauteed zuchini on the side.

I used regular salt to make the blackening seasoning in this recipe, which, unfortunately, made it much too salty. Not sure if I would have gotten the same results if I would have used used Kosher salt or not. With different blackening seasoning, I think I would've enjoyed the meal much more.
