Just wanted to let you know that I served this at my first post weight loss surgery Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. Everyone loved it; no one noticed or cared that it was low carb; and the traditional bread dressing sat almost untouched on the buffet!

It is colorful, has lots of flavor and moist enough to stand on it's own without gravy. I doubled the recipe for a large crowd and added some breadcumbs to the top for added crunch and browning.

Fabulous! Thanks so much for the great recipies!

We had this for our Thanksgiving dinner last night and it was a hit. Very tasty, very attractive and nutritious. Next time, I may add a bit of red bell pepper for color as the dish is very festive looking to start with. I used Zucchini squash. A definite repeat!

I know it's stuffing because you used sausage and sage as well as celery as an ingred. but it's soming I'll have to get use too, and my family liked it as a recipe for everyday cooking but not for thanksgiving sidedish they wanted real cornbread stuffing and it's somimg I could get use to after a while so thank you.

I cooked up the recipe and followed it to a tee. The recipe is good tasting but does not come close to stuffing. It would make a good vegetable side dish along with stuffing.

Excellent idea to bring a new casserole to my table for Thanksgiving Dinner. I know my family will love it.

Thanksgiving is at our house this year, and I was dreading not being able to have any of the great side dishes because of their high carb content. After seeing this dish the other day, I tried it out. My thought was that I could make some of this for me and "normal stuffing" for everyone else. Well, after trying it, I don't think I'm even going to bother making the normal stuffing. It honestly tasted just as good as any other traditional stuffing I've had. With a little gravy on top, you couldn't even tell the difference between this and normal stuffing. An A+ low-carb substitute.

This recipe sounds marvelous, but I haven't tried it yet. I plan to in the very near future and will give it a TRUE rating afterward. George, I LOVE your show!!!!!
