I've attempted seafood soups in the past. They've been acceptable, but not what I was looking for. I tried this recipe because I've been using up things in my freezer and had about a pound of unmarked fish, some large scallops, and some snow crab legs & claws. I purchased a pound of mussels, which we love, and didn't bother with clams. This was so easy to make, and the aroma while it was cooking was heavenly. As my husband said, "Someone's doing some good ethnic cooking out there." This turned out so well and was so very tasty that I will make it again and again in the future. Thank you so much.

I really enjoyed making this at home. It was super easy. The flavors that came out were wonderful. All the seafood melded together so well. I added my favorite hot sauce to the broth and enjoyed.

This was definitely one of my favorites. I LOVE seafood, and this dish is jam packed with them. I wasn't able to get some of the ingredients fresh, but even with using the canned versions....This was an AWESOME dish.

Great recipe! Essentially similar to any cioppinno. I don't know how one rater could rate it one star if she used quality ingredients. In any event, God bless her, it seems she doesn't like any of Mr. Stella's recipes. But, that's what makes the world go around. I've lost a lot of weight using many of his delicious recipes and my health has improved as a result. But its not for everyone, I guess.

I also added Dungeness crab clusters to this recipe because they were on sale the week I made this. Add your favorites.

This was a very easy dinner fix. I even strayed away from the original receipe a bit and it still turned out great( I did not have surplus of wine on me. But nonetheless it turned out great. I will surely make this one again.
