Sounds yummy as is, but with a picky, not low carb husband I made a few changes!
I used extra peppers and onions, none of the other veggies and pork sausage instead of turkey. I used crushed tomatoes in addition to the diced, poured the mixture over partially cooked farfalle and topped with fresh mozzarella for a one dish dinner. I've cooked it several times to rave reviews! Easy comfort food.

Excellent! Will make again. I found pepper and onion Sausage at my local Sweetbay and it worked out perfectly. I omitted the green beans and used chopped jalapeno, fresh tomato and herbs from my garden. LOVED IT!

This was really good and the low carbs made it even more satisfying knowing it wasn't hurting my diet. I've enjoyed most of George's recipies that I've tried. I also liked being able to spice it up.

What a yum-fest this was! Was looking for a sausage and pepper dish I could use a Hillshire smoked sausage with. Don't care for green bell pepper, so used red, yellow and orange. Served this over egg noodles, and finished with a bit of olive oil. It looked and tasted wonderful! Was so hungry, forgot about the cheese. That'll be good tomorrow on it I'm sure.
