My son (12 and I watch the Food Network all of the time. When we saw Bobby's cake, we were so excited because, of course, I am going to bake it. For Bobby's recipe not to be posted is terribly disappointing. Please post the recipe for that luscious, dark chocolate German's Chocolate Cake. (Now that my son knows the history of German Chocolate Cake, he won't let me say "German", I now have to say "German's".

How annoying is it when you get all excited about a recipe and then can't make it. The only reason I watch the show is for the recipes. If you did not post the recipes I probably would not be anywhere near as interested in any of the shows. If this recipe is not printed soon I have a feeling you are going to have a lot of scorned viewers including me. If we can not trust that the recipe is going to be printed and be correct than why bother watching. I learn a great deal from these shows. I feel as if I went to culinary school in my own living room, but without the recipe I am not learning much of anything. I also have to say that have never commented on anything before, but I am a Foodnetwork addict!!! It is the only thing on in my home 90 % of the time. This annoyed me so much that I could not help but comment!!!

I agree with the others - this is NOT Bobby's cake recipe. Although Bobby's was not the traditional cake, I was anxious to try it as I have a good friend whose birthday is approaching and who loves German Chocolate Cake. Also, in reviewing the recipe I found that no oven temperature was listed.

I am disappointed to see Bobby's recipe not on here. He did cheat a little in that he didn't make a real german chocolate cake...but his cake DID look awesome. The recipe posted here may not have won, but it is an EXCELLENT cake. I'm going to make her cake recipe but use Bobby's technique (coffee with the milk, different kinds of milk, etc... Thanks for a great recipe from both parties!!
(that chocolate frosting recipe isn't listed because she said it was a family secret

I am having a girlfriends get-together this weekend and was really looking forward to a terrific Bobby Flay German Chocolate Cake. I have the basic german chocolate cake recipe and was dissapointed not to have his mouth watering version he won with on the Throwdown! Please post TODAY!

I am certain that Ms. Baylor's cake is indeed delightful. As once of the judges noted, "it's just like my mom used to make". I will compare Mom's recipe to Ms. Baylor's and will probably be sure to make it. However, I must agree with the others; I am disappointed that Bobby's recipe is missing. Even my husband, who seldom eats anything sweet, commented that he would happily indulge in that chocolatey confection.
Please post Bobby's recipe too!
