I love German Chocolate cake. I made this cake twice and it fell apart each time. Seemed to be too moist. Nonetheless, it was a delicious pile to eat from. Just wish it would stay together.

The frosting and cake itself were great but after I let them cool they fell apart into little pieces. That was my only problem.

I had the german cake from Make My Cake was the best cake I've ever had and the owner was a sweetheart but the recipe here didn't have an oven temp. or cooktime!

Although I am not a fan of coconut, this cake contains just the right amount of it! I recently made the trip to Make My Cake to see what the hype was all about. It was well worth the trip! Not to mention, the customer service was amazing and the owner herself is very pleasant and available to her customers and community (she was sitting on the stoop of her shop with some Harlem locals. I would definitely recommend this cake to everyone. Be assured that I will be attempting to make this cake the first chance I get!

This is the first cake I've ever made from scratch, and while it was harder than the box-style, I was blown away by the delicious results! The frosting recipe is perfect, and the flavor is great. I wanted to make this ever since I saw the Throwdown episode!
I've never seen so much drama on a recipe review board! This cake is delicious, fun to make, and it great for company or birthdays or whenever. I will make this again!
