Oh yeah, very weird to see that but they taste soooo good. I was eating dinner, checking out the site and came across this recipe. Just so happened I was having mashed potatoes, so I decided to use the leftovers and give it a shot. I had to eat twice to try it but it was so worth it !! My measurements were probably off due to the amount of potatoes I had, but I think more cheese would be good. A great new way to change up regular mashed potatoes. Very easy to make. Thanks Giada !!

I could not wait to make this dish when I saw Giada make it on her show and I figured Easter was as good a time as any to introduce this recipe to my family. My family isn't known for trying new things, but this they loved. The cheeses melted wonderfully and made for very smooth and tasty spuds. Giada, this is a winner. Grazie!

I thought this recipe was very easy to make, and probably will be the only way I make mashed potatoes from now on. My only problem was that when you put it in the oven for 20 minutes, the top didn't get brown as I wanted them to be. I just put them in the broiler until I got the color I wanted.

These mashed potatoes are amazing. They are moist and the cheese is absolutely delicious. Don't listen to the other reviews that say they are dry, sometimes potatoes need more liquid to be nice and moist. Just taste them before you bake and just add some more milk if necessary. Everyone loved this and is begging for the recipe!

I was cooking for two people and certainly did not want to make 4 pounds worth of potatoes. So I attempted to cut the recipe in half but ended up adding too much milk. But overall, they were pretty good. I suggest adding milk, butter, salt and pepper to your own taste.

This is a really delicious potato side dish that you can make in advance. Prepare it in the morning for an evening dinner party, refrigerate it, and then pop it in the oven right before dinner. If you like a little more seasoning, use Italian style breadcrumbs rather than plain breadcrumbs. Also, substituting buttermilk for whole milk adds interesting depth of flavor. If you enjoy mashed potatoes, you'll love this dish.
