These were fabulous! I followed the recipe exactly except for I added a little garlic powder to the potatoes when I salted/peppered them. For those who complained they were bland, I would imagine they just needed more salt. These were creamy and FULL of flavor! The whole family loved them, and we will now be making these for Thanksgiving instead of our old favorite. :

I am a potato nut, especially on mashed potatoes. I have never had or made any baked mashed potatoes except in shepard's pie. These potatoes were delicious!! Will definitely be making again and again!

This recipe is great! There is a nice hint of parmigiana and an excellent golden crust all around. I cooked it at 425 for about 40 min and saved a little time. My daughter loves it and it is easy to make.

I make these potatoes all the time, so much better than traditional mashed potatoes and I don't even have to make a gravy! I always double up on the topping...the crunch is the best part! Or maybe the cheesiness is, it's ALL GOOD!

Paired this with Giada's Chicken Florentine and it was fantastically delicious. Make sure to use good quality cheese here folks. My boyfriend bought all the ingredients for this and got Kraft pre-shredded parmesean cheese (in a tub and it was mostly tasteless. Made it again with REAL parmesean cheese (grated it myself and it made all the difference in the world. YUM! Take that fake cheese!
