The recipe is very easy, lots of room for error ... and it still turns out great.

No soy muy amante a las papas majadas, pero esta receta es una opcion para comerlas. Son una tentacion; una manera de disfrazarlas para alguien como yo. !Me encantan!

love crunchy mashed potatoes of any kind so i was excited to try this. the breadcrumb & parm cheese topping didn't melt correctly. i'd recommend using less breadcrumb and more parm cheese. I sprinkled another bunch of parm cheese on top and that gave it a proper top! it's a very good recipe but not great. i like it for the variety.

Delishious meal! I also added bacon crumbs on top. Yummy.

the only thing i changed was using italian breadcrumbs, adding garlic, and putting way more topping than called for with extra cheese. SOOOOOOO GOOD!!! I almost didn't make the whole batch because it was only for my husband and I, but we are in a fair way to polishing off every last lick! MMMMMMMMMM

I've never been much of a mashed potato fan but this recipe makes me think twice and it was a hit with the family.
I'm a huge cheese fan, though, and will probably boost the cheese a little more next time. I used Yukon Gold potatoes instead of the Russets called for and added a bulb of roasted garlic and a little olive oil to the mixture, which, in my oppinion sent this recipe over the top! I also, added a little butter to the breadcrumb topping to avoid burning, as suggested by some of the previous reviewers and found this to work wonderfully resulting with a beautiful golden crust. It's a keeper!

This dish had just a bit too much parmesan cheese for my taste. After reading the reviews, I substituted the motzerella for mild cheddar and made the mashed potatoes as I like them (more butter and milk - the parmesan flavor was almost too overwhelming. Next time I will only be using half a cup - everything else was just great!

Had a nice flavor, but once you baked in oven they became a little dry. I also didn't like the bread crumbs on top. I think they would be great if you just skipped the topping and baking.
