These potatoes were so good. Plus they were a snap to make. Definitely try these if you like mashed potatoes.

Be sure to use Italian bread crumbs. They provide much more zip.

My husband says these are the best mashed potatoes he's ever had. And why wouldn't they be, with all the yummy ingredients. We really liked the crispy topping, and next time, I will double or triple the bread crumb mixture. At another reviewer's suggestion, I added melted butter to the topping, and it browned very nicely. Too bad these are so high calorie, or we'd have them frequently. A very nice compliment to the pork chops.

I love mashed potatoes and have my own recipe down pat, but I am making this my new one! I didn't use freshly shredded parmesan cheese, but a bagged garlic flavored variety and it was delicious. I'll definately make this again. A new favorite!

A neat twist on traditional mashed potatoes. Dresses up any meal.

I made these with sweet potatoes - used less parmesean cheese on top, too. Really good & DH loved the dish!

The potatoes turned out perfectly. I used a little bit of extra cheese. Next time I will experiment with different cheeses. They baked for exactly 20 min. Great recipe!

I served these for a dinner party and everyone loved them. I actually used Ritz crumbs instead of bread crumbs for a little extra crunch.
