These potatoes are fantastic. I love them because they have so much flavor, you can make them with any meal and you don't need gravy. They are delicious and my kids get so excited when see that I'm making them. Thanks Giada!

This is the only mashed potatoes my family will eat! It's easy, delicious and foolproof. I bought some potatoes yesterday and my son asked if I was making "giada's potatoes" which is what we call it! I had to come here to get the recipe again, they just love it!

Super yummy. This was my first time mashing potatoes and they came out nice and smooth and creamy. I normally don't like mashed potatoes because they have too much garlic and/or butter but this is perfect. The only changes I made were using red potatoes instead of russet, and Panko instead of plain bread crumbs. The Panko and cheese didn't brown after almost 20 minutes but that might be because I made the potatoes early and refrigerated for 4-5 hours. I just turned the broiler on for the last couple of minutes in the oven and they crisped nicely. But to be honest, if you skipped the baking part and just ate the potatoes hot off the stove, they'd still be great. The baking just adds a touch of oomph to the dish.

Such a family favorite, I am now asked to make it at every holiday meal. I add a little extra Parmesan and garlic. I also add an egg before baking.

Big hit! Didn't make enough! It was just amazing though I did play with the quantity of most ingredients. Incredible! Added more milk and cheese but a little bit less of butter. Did add more bread crumbs for the topping.

Super good! this recipe will be a staple for my holiday meals. Only thing is that I added more butter, milk, and cheese. Salt is important. It was delicious!

Just made these tonight as a trial run for Thanksgiving. These were easy and delicious. For those reviews that thought they were bland, probably didn't use enough salt. Will definitely make again!
