Fast and easy.......... You can use any nut you like. I tried it with walnuts and pecans, my dad went nuts over them, no pun intented..... Very much like "Turtles" (chocolates candies

caramel goes really well with chocolate. i prefer it a little harder like brittle, but it was still very good overall. i put the melted caramel in the freezer to speed up the hardening process. remember not to leave it in for more than 5 mins so it'll be easier to pop out. also, cream could be optional.

I'm a huge fan of Giada's recipes, but this one fell far short (at least for me they weren't crunchy at all, kinda blah. Even though I followed the recipe perfectly :(

This is a great recipe but you really have to watch the timing when melting the caramel in the oven. The recipe calls for 8 minutes. I had them in for 5 and the caramel was already bubbling and got hard on my first try. Second time I made them I kept them in for only 4 minutes and they turned out perfect. Could be my oven though.

The caramel is nice & chewy, a little crunch for the alomonds and the sweetness comes from both white and bittersweet chocolate!! Why buy candies when you can make them!!!!!! =D

I took others advice and really greased the pan. They did just pop out. It was an easy recipe, but it tasted just okay.

I have been looking for a recipe like this for years! What a quick and simple way to make a yummy treat. I went a little over the top with this already great recipe and added half a marshmellow on top of the hot caramel once it came out of the oven. I let them sit a minute or so until the marshmellow melted a bit. Tip: put the pans in the freezer instead of fridge and they pop right out! Thanks Giada!
