So although I overmixed the sugar and eggs which made forming two logs almost impossible and very messy. I enjoyed the flavor. I didn't have lemons so it was a toss between limes and oranges...oranges won. I omitted the white chocolate because I don't like it. So my biscotti , though flat and not made with lemon zest and no white chocolate to be seen...are pretty enjoyable. Especially with a cup of coffee, a little sweet cream, and a smile! However, next time I'll use lemons and really watch the sugar/egg mixture.

These were great! Everyone liked them and I thought they were just right in the crispiness department and the flavor was out of this world! And because I love chocolate, I added about 1/2 cup of the white chocolate chips to the batter!!
They were just excellent and I will definitely be making them again!
    Thanks Giada!

I make allot of biscotti from my mother-in law's recipe through the year
so I am not a novice. The cornmeal interested me so I gave this
recipe a try The batter was sticky x10, the logs were puddles and the
end product was at best strangely dry (not hard & dense, an odd shape
    and tasteless.
This is the second time I have bit for one of her cookie recipes and the
last. She acts as if she is perfect and is judgmental in a cruel way of
others--not great qualities especially when your food sucks.

This is the first time I'm trying Biscotti.I'm a fan of Food Network and of course Giada. I saw her make this on TV and started alongside with her. It came out perfect, nice and crispy. This recipe is a real hit! I'm going to make this more often. This tasted great even without the dipping.

    Thanks Giada.

These were extremely good! Loved the biscotti...next time instead of "dipping" the biscotti into the white chocolate, I will drizzle! YUM...thanks Giada!!

After reading all of the reviews, I was expecting something spectacular. I thought that these were good but nothing special. I think I would prefer them without the cornmeal, maybe some almond extract. Probably won't make again.

I love biscotti and was looking for a way to use some lemons from our tree. These are easy to make and very good. ( a lot easier than Giada's pine nut lemon cookies.

I didn't measure the lemon zest because for me, there can't ever be too much lemon. I zested 3 large Meyer lemons.

After reading a post where the reviewer added the white chips into the batter instead of dipping at the end, I did the same. I added 3/4 cup to the batter with the chopped almonds.

I baked the full time during the second bake, but kept an eye on things. Biscotti are supposed to be crunchy! They soften when dipped in coffee or wine. Mine came out bigger I think than the recipe (only got 14 biscotti instead of 20, so that may be part of the reason.

I'll make these again for sure. Thanks Giada!

These turned out perfectly the first time! I didn't have enough lemon zest, so I chopped up some dried cranberries instead. Very tasty, and it makes me think of other many other ways to change it up. I will definitely try the lemon next time though. My friends are so impressed, but I'm almost embarrassed at how easy they were to make! This recipe will be a staple in my house for a long time.
