We're having a heat wave in Seattle, just for my b-day so too hot to bake. Had a container of mascarpone and had an idea, did a search here and found this. Couple of subs: used pound cake cut in 3 lengthwise horizonal sections, frosted the outside with the rest of the whipped cream stabilized with plain gelatin and I'm sure it's going to be delicious.

I LIKED IT BECAUSE OF THE LIGHTEST OF THE TEXTURE AND THAT IT WOULD MAKE A COOL DESSERT FOR THE SUMMER. IT COULD CHANGE WITH THE SEASONS IF NEED BE.

...then try this dessert. I made an angel food cake from scratch and topped with this recipe. I actually had a few minutes to myself and sat down and enjoyed every bite.

Wow is all I have to say! So easy - and yet so incredibly delicious! Something this easy should not impress as well as it does! Thank you, Giada!

This was easy to make, looked elegant and tasted like a dream. Creamy but, amazingly enough, it was light enough to eat after a meal of spaghetti with Giada's spicey Tomato Sauce with Olives, garlic bread and salad. If you're pressed for time but want something impressive, this is for you.
