In Italian "anti" means "before" and "pasto" means "food". Therefore, anitpasto means before food so its like an hors d'oeuvre. This recipe is awesome as written!

It's 6:30 a.m and I'm about to make pasta salad, a dish that I don't particularly care for, therefore I'd never made it, until now. It is now 7:22 am and I just finished making Giada's Antipasto Salad. FANTASTIC!! I doubled up on some of the meatier to ensure that everyone in the book group I was preparing this for had an opportunity to enjoy every ingredient . It's a hit. This is a dish I will be making for years to come. Thanks Giada.

This is the best pasta salad I've ever had. Easy to make and great to pack for lunch, for parties or cookouts. I will definitely make this again!

I loved this recipe. I actually ended up putting the sliced roasted red peppers into the dressing as a puree and instead of provolone and asiago, I used Feta cheese or for a milder cheese, try goat cheese. I have to say this was a winner with everyone. People served themselves 3 or 4 times!

Wow, was this delicious! Easy to make and so tasty. I put a container of this pasta salad for my daughter's lunch and she came home talking about how delicious her lunch was (this is highly unusual for her. I also think you could switch out items depending on what you have available. The dressing was fabulous! Thanks Giada!

Having prepared this recipe at least four times now, and with a tremendous response from family and guests every time, this recipe seems to warrant a formal, hands-down, written rave. This salad is fantastic. Of course, the individual ingredients on their own are delicious and may indicate a foolproof hit and an easy recommendation, but I believe the simple dressing transforms this salad into something very special. Just fantastic ? take this to a casual dinner party or even to a friend and you?ll be a rock star!
