I enjoyed the salad and yes I too added more red and went with cherrie tomatoes and a little chopped red onion to balance out the sweetness. I will also next omit the turkey, not really necessary in this salad. I also served it chilled instead of at room temperature. Thanks for the recipe I love watching you cook, you seem to really enjoy your art. Thank you!

I have made this recipe several times and it is always a hit! The salad tastes very light and fresh, and the fresh basil gives the salad so much added flavor. I will keep making this recipe for years to come! Thanks Giada, I can always count on your recipes to taste great.

I've made this a few times now and I love the dressing more than anything! Unfortunately I can never find fusilli pasta, so I settle for Rottini, still tastes great. I've made it with the salami and turkey and cheese before, but we didn't really care for the turkey and cheese, maybe its the quality I buy, so I just used salami. I also like a little more red with all that green and I add red bell pepper, and instead of green olives, I use black. The derssing is by far the best part of it!

This recipe is super tasty! I made a few changes though. I added a little more roasted red pepper because I really love it and I added green onion. I also realised that I did not have any dijon so I used a little mayo in the dressing instead. It worked out really great! Thanks Giada!

I have made this recipe about 5 times and it always is a crowd pleaser. Everyone asks for the recipe. It is so delicious and so easy to make. Refreshing pasta salad, great for picnics and parties. I too use a little less basil, but it is still so wonderfully delicious.

This recipe is delicious! You can substitute with other lunch meats or cheeses and it's still awesome. It's good to keep in the refrigerator and pack for lunches or picnics. Thanks Giada!

this salad was amazing!! made a double portion for my work and was took first place among 8 other summer pasta dishes. the meal only lasted a couple hours. change the recipe up a touch by adding pepperjack chunks and turkey ham slices and salami slices...this was my twist on it..but the base recipe was awesome. thanks

This is such a great change from the heavy mayonnaise-based salads you see at pot lucks.

I do use a little less basil (more like 3/4 to 1 cup and a tad more garlic in the dressing though.

The vinaigrette turned out more like pesto for me, but it was great. Simple and delicious--wowed my guests.
