Wow. This is a great treat and one I crave each fall. It's a little sweet for my taste but it's so unexpected it deserves a 5. It's early summer where I live and for our next cooking club the theme is herbs - my girlfriend has already requested I make these. I think the thyme sprig is a must. Thanks Giada

I usually love cocktails with fresh fruits/herbs - strawberry & basil go so well together. My husband hated it & I just thought it was ok. I was hoping it would turn out better but it was very sweet & tasted a bit like sherry - oh well, what a shame I wasted my vodka. My friend wasn't a huge fan of it either, so most of it went to waste.

A not too sweet, but sweet martini. I thought, what also goes well with thyme? and I thought LEMON, so on our second batch we tweaked it with a citron vodka and a dash of fresh lemon. Really enjoyed this "fall-ish martini".

I was excited about trying this but I'm not sure I got the parts right. I didn't make as much as the recipe called for, but it had some very interesting flavors. I feel that the thyme really gave it an earthy flare. All in all, I think I'm going to have to keep tweaking it before its fantastic.

The thyme flavor is unexpected and delightfully complex. It's still a sweet martini to be sure but something you can actually savor. A great "dinner" martini as the herbs lead well into the stronger flavors of food.

This is superb. The thyme is well balance with the sweetness of the apple juice. Much more sophisticated than the trendy apple martini.

I can't say enough about this recipe. Very yummy, but like I said, "You only need 1!" Good thing I had a big dinner afterward.

It took a little playing around with the proportions, but this drink has interesting layers of flavor that come out in succession. I will try this again, but it definitely requires some fixing "to taste."

Very simple yet delicous drink. Fun to get friends over and make it a part of our little get together.

My fiance and I really enjoyed these, they are very refreshing and the thyme simple syrup gives it a very unique taste.
