I made these as one of my finger food desserts for Thanksgiving last year. Froze them ahead. You can also buy pyllo cups already formed if you don't need a large amout. Like this because it'shealthy and not toooooooooooo sweet

Giada, you are the best, but please forget the word "awesome". You are head and shoulders above those who use and overuse that word!

These cups were easy to make and quite good. I made the filling the night before and baked the cups the next morning. The only change I made was I used cinnamon instead of cardamom. I think they will be just the right snack before or after Thanksgiving dinner.

My husband and I both thought it simply tasted like apricots with a crunchy shell. There was nothing impressive about the flavor at all. They are very pretty, but extremely sweet. I love cardamom and there was no trace of it in the taste and only an after taste of the walnuts. I had thought about trying to rework the recipe, but I am simply going to go with if you want apricots eat them - this isn't worth the minimal effort for added "crunch".

To work with phillo dough is not easy. It is very delicate, and easy to break. But I was very carefull with it, and my recipe came very good, like a chef! The combination of these ingredients are awesome. My family enjoyed it very much.

I made this with frozen mini phyllo cups instead of making my own cups (too much work . i took out the cups placed on a cookie sheet. Then I made the filling basted the cups with butter and put the filling in and baked. Real easy and a real party pleaser! If you can find the cups they make this recipe much quicker

Substituted walnuts for almonds. Tasted good, but I will use less honey next time. Also, I was disappointed with the store-bought phyllo dough. When I opened it and gently rolled it out, the dough already had cracked in the middle. Any recommendations on brand of phyllo dough to use next time? Thanks.
