I love watching Giada cook and when she made these bars, I knew it would be wonderful. It was!!! It is not too sweet but has great flavor and texture. Thank you, Giada

Easy to make and loved by my neighbors. I thought that they were dry, not enough filling. Maybe another half recipe of the filling would do the trick. My neighbors are happy as I gave them all to them.

These bars are so fast and easy and most of the ingredients you already have! It is also a great recipe to change up the filling in and experiment. Dried apricots were too expensive for me so I used cherry flavored craisins instead with the apricot jam and it was wonderful! Next time I think I'll try cherry filling. My daughter loved them! I'll be packing these in her lunch...better than the store bought ones any day! Great recipe Giada!

Saw the show on Sat and knew we had to try these. Added a bit more jam and double the dried apricots. They were awesome and a big hit for our Memorial Day get together. Thanks Giada.

I made these today and they are to die for. I made them with homemade jam and doubled the dried apricots. It's hard to stop eating them once you start. I plan to make them again next week with my home made raspberry jam and fresh raspberries. Thanks Giada

I work at a Poice Department. The boys love sweets! I knew I was in trouble after making these and my three teenage sons tried to block the door so I couldn't get pass with the goodies. The Officers went crazy over these and they were gone by 8am. Fantastic and tasty. Easy to make and will definately be made again. I am thinking I will add some coconut the next time. YUM!

I added dried cherries. I think I should have let it bake a little longer, it was kind of soft in the middle--but delicious just the same.

This recipe is the easiest to make, and finally apricots get to enjoy the spotlight.
It took minimal prep, and I had all the ingredients with the exception of the dried apricots, on hand.
I did add more apricots than the recipe called for, and next time will try other fruit fillings and combinations. This recipe is great, and could be switched up so many ways! The crust is chewy but can be cut, and the filling is sweet but too much.
Will def make this for my next BBQ or gathering :
Thanks Giada!
