Very good, but I would recommend making a bit more crust than what the recipe states. Maybe it's just me. I also added some whole- grain cheerios along with some bran cereal. They turned out to be a perfect picnic snack!

I made this when I was visiting some family out of town and EVERYBODY raved about it and Loved them!!! Everybody wants the recipe so I guess I'll be emailing it out to them. Very quick and easy to make - I added Waaaaay more apricots since I like things "chunky". I think this would be good with any dried fruit and jam/jelly mixture. I'm thinking of experimenting next time with different varieties. Maybe craisins with strawberry jam would be good.
Great dessert and snack bar - the problem was I couldn't STOP eating them! De-lish!

I made this for my husband and I. I opt for Pecans over Walnuts, they seem to bring flavor to the mixture. I loved the Oats and Apricot, but will use a jam or preserve for texture instead of a jelly, it came out too thin for the filling. Love the Apricot!!
I'm thinking of adding Craisins to the next batch along with the
    Apricots!! Delish! :

These are really delicious, but I didn't have enought for the second layer of topping so I added about a 1/4 cup more oats. I'm bringing these to the office tomorrow! Thanks Giada

This recipe was so easy and delicious. My girlfriend and I are going for a hike and these are perfect to bring along. Giada is a wonderful teacher and I love the way she enunciates her words. Thanks again and can't wait to keep trying recipes.

I'm not a big fan of apricots, so I tried this with cherries and added 2/3 cup of dark chocolate chips. Turned out wonderfully! (They are very rich, which helps to keep it to only one per sitting :.

wow- these r so yummy! i followed the recipe to the letter & thought they were perfect. idk about the ppl complaining that they r too rich- they r about equal to a tollhouse cookie, so i guess it depends how u feel about butter & sugar- personally im a big fan... will def try blueberry next, but the apricot is awesome! :

I followed this recipe with a few of my own modifications. I used gluten free flour, organic vegetable shortening instead of butter and, flax meal instead of the egg to make this a vegan gluten free dessert. It was awesome! I love it! A lot of gluten free recipes end up tasting horrible or have a really bad texture but this came out great with the gluten free flour. I just made it again but I used apple sauce instead of the flax meal. I'll see if it comes out better than the first time! Thanks Giada!
