I drizzled the finished salad with the oil and vinegar in lieu of all that dressing, and I used Sweet-100 cherry tomatoes halved for flavor that pops. Next time will make sure my bread cubes are crisper.
I look forward to making this as a quick summer supper (with the addition of some marinated goat cheese cubes to make it hardier. Yum!

This was so good I couldn't stop myself from returning to the salad bowl. I used 8 oz of frozen and a small jar of marinated artichoke hearts. I also used less oil (I think you can eyeball how much you really need and added pecorino cheese. It was very very tasty! I will definitely make this again.

I loved this recipe, although I didn't have exact ingrediants (used balsamic instead of wine vinager, used kalamata olives instead of black and...I added red onion & fresh basil. So fresh tasting, the bread crunches up when grilled, then becomes soft w/ the dressing (not crunchy like a crouton. Yummy yummy.

This recipe was terrible. Usually I like Giada's recipies and I made this with the pork from the same show, which was fine. This one was terrible. Little or no taste, the bread gets soggy quickly, and my family simply hated it. I threw the recipe out along with the leftovers. I couldn't think of a way to even improve it.

This is a wonderful easy salad that satisfies even the biggest appetite. A terrific blend of flavors. I shaved parm on top and we both thought it was one of the best we've tasted.

Saw this on the Foodnetwork this weekend and it turned out my girlfriend made it for dinner that night. It was sooo good. She used sourdough instead which I think was a good choice - I hate wheat. It's amazing how much the grilling does. I think a balsamic vinaigrette could be good too.

Didn't have whole wheat so used Ciabatta. Delicious. Only used about half the dressing. Served with the stuffed pork chops. I could eat this salad daily for lunch.

Outstanding taste, fresh, delicious, easy to make, impressive for company, too! I wouldn't change a thing. I used an extremely small amount of the dressing. This will definitely be a regular in our home!

The grilling brings so much flavor to the bread! Good call using whole wheat. I used kalamata olives and some marinated artichoke hearts from the fridge. No white wine vinegar in the house so didn't make the dressing, but it was quite light, filling, and tasty even without.
