I served this for Christmas dinner and it was a hit. My grandchildren loved it. This is a keeper, will serve it often.

This was an excellent side dish! I halved the recipe since it was just myself and my boyfriend. It was a perfect combination of crispy and spicy. I agree with one reviewer who used the S&W brand. Some leaves were tough, but it was still very tasty. I can't wait to make it again!

I have not stopped getting rave reviews for this dish!! I made it as an appetizer for a "Girl's Night" and have given the recipe to every, single girl ~~ they've all called for it!

The only changes I made were using two cans of artichoke hearts (that I halved as frozen aren't sold in my grocery store, using Italian breadcrumbs, and 2 cloves of garlic. DELICIOUS!!

I substituted plain bread crumbs with italian seasoned bread crumbs. It was delicious. It tastes like my mother's stuffed artichokes without all of the work. Even my mother agreed!

The dish was fabulous- easy to make, set up nicely in the oven. I loved the broth, with that wine and chicken stock flavoring. I added onion to the garlic in the first step. Definitely a keeper!

Warning: choose a high/consistent quality brand of frozen artichokes.
I loved everything about this recipe except for the frozen artichokes I happened to buy. This problem can be easily fixed by doing a little leg work to find a higher quality product.
For the record I used S & W brand. We found that every single bite had tough outer leaves that had to be spit out. Perhaps this was a bad batch, but as easy as this recipe was I'd never take a chance with S&W brand frozen artichokes again.
I recommend that you search out different sources for frozen artichokes until you find a good quality brand.
FYI: adding more broth to combat dryness issues could solve some problems cited by other reviewers.

I was so impressed by this recipe, I made it within a day of seeing it. I think the wine and chicken broth added good flavor. I used my own bread crumbs, which are more flavorful than what the reicpe calls for. I think it turned out good and I would make it again. It's nice to have different options for side dishes.

    Here's the attempt:

Very creative - nice change from the standard side dishes! So many reviews say that this dish is flavorless or bland, but I have to completely disagree. Between the red pepper flakes, the wine, and the garlic, I found the flavor to be wonderful! I am a flex-etarian and constantly looking for great vegetable dishes that I can make. I made this dish tonight and it is really good! I did make a few adjustments - I used Pinot Grigio instead of Marsala (didn't have it added 1/3 cup of each the bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese to the artichoke mixture before pouring into the baking dish; increased the amount of topping to 1/2 cup of each the bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese; and I didn't have parsley, but thought basil might be a good substitute - and it was! One more note (and this might have helped with the flavor, I used Italian bread crumbs. Try this recipe - you will love it!

I added more garlic and since my frozen artichokes were only 9 oz I added a drained can of artichoke bottoms that I quartered. Cheese was a blend of parmesean & romano. I thought it was very good, will definitely make it again. It would serve 4-6 as a side definitely with the add'l artichokes. Nice.

This recipe didn't turn out bad, but I expected much better. It was a bit soggy, and even though I usually love the breadcrumbs mixture, this one didn't really blend and well with the dish.

Maybe just a personal preference, but I felt like this needed another vegetable(s to give it more flavor.
