The Artichokes give this otherwise bland recipe a nice kick, but there are not enough spices or flavors to please my pallette. The result come out of the oven too dry!

I'm a vegetarian so I used vegetable broth and I didn't have wine so I subbed more borth for that as well.. and I used fresh grated pamesan and I could only find 12 oz pkgs of artichokes and even with all those cahnges, it was just delicious. I'll definately make it again.

The artichokes are so tender and have so much flavor that it's a real treat! I paired it with Paula Deen's Baked Spaghetti, and it made a wonderful meal!

I made these last night after seeing them on her show. They were easy and tasted amazing! I couldn't find frozen artichokes though so I used canned ones. I drained, but did not rinse them. I also used Panko breadcrumbs, but am going to try regular ones next time.

I made this last night and it was awesome. My grocery didn't have frozen artichokes so I used canned and they worked fine. I also used whole wheat panko bread crumbs which are fabulous. My husband took the leftovers to work today!

I am always looking for new ways to prepare vegetables so that it's not boring old canned/frozen veggies. I really like stuffed artichokes but I think it's too tedious to prepare them. I saw this and I thought it would be easy! It really was!! I used 1/2 the artichokes but the same amount of broth/wine and breadcrumbs/cheese. I like breading. The only problem I had was that I used shaker Parm. cheese, and it didn't form a crumbly topping like I thought it would, but that was my own fault. It was so easy to prepare and it turned out delish! I didn't think the Marsala overpowerd the dish at all. I will definitely make again!! It took me the same amount of time to boil a pan of water as it did to prepare these and throw in the oven. Easy to make with pasta!

This was okay, but not wonderful; I may have added a bit to much marsala. Probably wouldn't make again.

I couldn't find frozen artichoke hearts in two supermarkets, so I bought a fresh cauliflower. Cut it into florets, and followed recipe. Only change was to let the cooking go longer with the liquid to get the cauliflower softer and cooked until it was almost gone. It was really delicious. The breadcrumb mixture reminded me of the mixture on baked clams. Yum.

Again, Giada doesn't disappoint!! Have made this recipe on a number of occasions...and always with frozen artichokes (Birds Eye brand sold at Publix. I agree that flavored bread crumbs enhance the topping, but there is no substitute for Marsala. Also, don't understand how some people can say this dish is bland/tasteless......it's anything but!!
