It was a very delicious dish. I personally don't like gorgonzola much, so used goat cheese instead and I am very happy I did that. It was very yummy and everyone enjoyed it. I think I'll make this dish again!!!

I made the fried Gorgonzola and although I like gorgonzola in pasta, it was just too strong to eat in such a big bite not mixed with other ingredients. I think it would be better with goat cheese or mozarella.

Gorgonzola is my husband's favorite so he was very happy with this. I flatten the balls into patties before refrigerating and they were much easier to fry and used less oil.

Do as Giada says and refrigerate your cheese or it won't be pretty when you fry them up. I used blue cheese since I couldn't find gorgonzola and while it was still yummy it didn't turn out perfect since I didn't have time to refrigerate the cheese for at least 2 hours. The dressing was so light but flavorful - Yum! I will definately be saving the dressing recipe for future salad use.

The salad was light and a very different taste from traditional salads. The dressing was a bit oily for my taste, but it was a hit at the holiday meal.

This recipe was just okay. The arugula was great, but the gorgonzola was a bit much for such a simple salad and dressing. The fried gorgonzola balls were much easier to prepare than I had expected, but frying them to a creamy consistency without allowing them to crumble apart was much more difficult.

the gorgonzola cheese was too strong tasting could not get the odor out of my house. Would have used mozzarella. Not a good one sorry.
