Easy. Healthy. Super delicious! A good salad to pack for school lunches.

I used savoy cabbage cuz that's what the store had, and added a little sesame oil to the dressing. I also omitted the basil and it still came out great. Letting the veggies "marinade" in the dressing while the chicken grilled really let the flavors come together.

This is typical Giada; clean and fresh with pleanty of veggies and some protein to keep you going. This is a very delicious salad. Don't change a thing, just make it as is and enjoy. Giada shows us how to enjoy food and flavors in moderation. She has no forbidden foods, just less of the stuff that isn't necessarily great for you; i.e. the fried noodles and the scant 1/2 teaspoon of sugar in the dressing. Giada is my favorite chef on TV for this reason.

Great weeknight meal! The salad is simple and easy to put together. Reminds me of one of my favorite restaurant salads.

Nice for a quick and easy Asian style salad. I prefer to do Bobby Flay's Chinese Chicken Salad when I have more time for more flavorful ingredients.

Excellent! Put it together in a cinch. Husband and kids enjoyed it as well. Love being able to throw dinner together quickly, without skimping on taste or nutrients. This one is a keeper.

I am always looking for a salad with enough substance to be the main course for dinner. This salad is very filling, even for my husband. There is a wonderful combination of textures and flavors! Very simple ingredients make an outstanding salad! The mint is a must, it adds a wonderful freshness to the salad. I added about a tablespoon of toasted sesame oil to the dressing to add a little more of that kind of flavor. This is a wonderful salad, worth a try!

Dressing makes or breaks Chinese Chicken Salad and I had to throw this one out. For those modifying the recipe to improve the dressing and then giving it a 5 star, it does not represent the true quality of the recipe given by Giada. This is not worth the ratings given the original recipe. Way too oily!
