It's good and super quick to make, since there's no cooking involved. I was just expecting a different taste (not that this is bad! This will most likely become a new staple in my house because it's so easy to make.

Couldn't find sesame seeds, or Thai basil or mint. But this was good. It made a huge salad. It was made as a pre dinner salad. Fyi it doesn't hold up well for the day after because its dressed.

I can't stand reviews that say they love the recipe and then explain how they made it entirely different. That said, I did love the recipe and made some changes. The two changes were that I added a tsp. of peanut butter to the dressing which made it a little creamier. I also put scallions in the salad for a bit of onion flavor and some of the green part on top. It was a delicious salad and I will make it again, Maybe I'll add some fruit?

This was really great! I used mint from my garden and I couldn't believe what a great flavor that added.

I used savoy cabbage cuz that's what the store had, and added a little sesame oil to the dressing. I also omitted the basil and it still came out great. Letting the veggies "marinade" in the dressing while the chicken grilled really let the flavors come together.

This is typical Giada; clean and fresh with pleanty of veggies and some protein to keep you going. This is a very delicious salad. Don't change a thing, just make it as is and enjoy. Giada shows us how to enjoy food and flavors in moderation. She has no forbidden foods, just less of the stuff that isn't necessarily great for you; i.e. the fried noodles and the scant 1/2 teaspoon of sugar in the dressing. Giada is my favorite chef on TV for this reason.

Great weeknight meal! The salad is simple and easy to put together. Reminds me of one of my favorite restaurant salads.

So yummy, so easy and so refreshing. This is the meal we make when we really feel the need to be healthy. Love the yummy dressing!
