Very nice. I love the fresh flavors without any one being overpowering. I lightly tossed everything in a serving bowl. I have never cared for papaya by itself. This recipe is a keeper! Very refreshing.

Awesome combination of ingredients. I just added some crumbled feta cheese and it was so delicious. My lime was very big so I needed to add a little more olive oil to counter the tang a bit. Other than that, it was perfect. Everyone raved!! I will make it often. Thanks Giada! Your recipes haven't failed me yet.

This recipe was so easy and very tasty. I'm going to use this for a brunch. It was very refreshing. The salad dressing can be made ahead, so that all you have to do before serving it is cut up the papaya and avocado. I have a lot of health conscious friends, so I'm sure they will like this recipe. Next time, I may try adding mango like one of the other reviewers suggested.

Dressing does not taste all that exciting until its on the papaya and avacado. Then it tastes just great!! I added a tad bit more sugar. Very nice combination!!

Outstanding! Made it twice in Hawaii with very fresh fruit. Second time I added a ripe mango which made it even better. Perhaps the fruit is bigger in Hawaii, but half this recipe served four with seconds. When I did it with the full recipe there was enough for six with some seconds. Try it, you will love it.

I never imagined that papaya and avocado could be such a perfect match. The dressing really ties together the flavors. This recipe is a tropical delight and has renewed my love for papaya. Thank you Giada!!!

Great recipe. I reccomend making the dressing before cutting the avocado and after you peel the avocado, rub it all over with the spent lime. It keeps it bright green. Easy recipe and the dressing is terrific.

I tried this recipe with my family and they loved it. Kids and all. I cubed the papaya and avocado and changed the dressing alittle bit by adding homeade italian dressing. As another way to service this dish I also cut up a variety of fresh tomatoes and it was just as delicious. I think next time I will try some procuitto in it.

I made this salad for a salad bar at work. There were a lot of requests for the recipe. People's comments centered on the colorful presentation and the dressing.
