This was an awesome omelet! Simple quick and made me look like an amazing cook. My overnight guests raved about it. This was the first time I had eaten Gruyere cheese and it was a wonderful introduction! It was also a great conversation piece. We all had input.

I made this tonight and it came out great! I substituted the gruyere for sharp cheddar, used turkey breakfast sausage instead of regular, and added another five minutes to the cooking time. My kids loved it! It did make a lot but it's great for leftovers tomorrow morning. Really easy to make!

AMAZING...I made it with 5 eggs & half the other amounts...mostly with leftovers I had: cooked sausage & peppers & onions & even gruyere. I'd never baked an omlette before but this is now my "go to" recipe...as are sooo many by Giada!!

I really love this recipe! It's so easy and is so full of flavor! I'm doing a low-carb diet and need something simple for breakfast during the week. This works so well! It heats up great and is perfect to take with me to work!
