These muffins were SO yummy! I used 1/2 applesauce 1/2 oil... to make it lower in fat-turned out moist & tasty. I also added a small handful of butterscotch chips.
Will definitely bake these again, can't wait to try them with the cream frosting!

Fabulous!! Even without the frosting, and in a healthier rendition: replace 1/2 of flour with whole wheat flour, replace 1/2 of oil with apple sauce. Wonderful flavor and consistency!!!

Loved this cupcake. Instead of the Mascarpone Cream Frosting, I used regular cream cheese frosting and added a couple tablespoons for molasses. That was yummy too.

Made this today, i made muffin forms and a cake form and they came out really moist and the smell that went around the house was very aromatic and yummy. I read the reviews prior to making this recipe and i read that someone put nutella as the topping and that sounded really yummy so that made the cake taste awesome. Thanks would def make this again!

These muffins were amazing! I didn't make the frosting however, they still tasted very delicious. The recipe and cook time were perfect i didn't have too change a thing.

most delicious and moist banana muffin recipe ever! I did not have mascarpone, so i tried using ricotta instead....not terrible, but not a good substitute due to the grittness of the ricotta. But the muffins were so good they did not even need the frosting. Thanks Giada!
