These are so delicious! Just sweet enough with just the right amount of spices and banana flavor...they are the best banana muffins recipe I've ever made.

I love this recipe! Easy to make great tasting. I have tried the recipe both ways with full amount of sugar and a little less sugar (because of everyone carrying on about the muffins being to sweet but I don't recommend you change the sugar unless you like really bland muffins. I will definitely make these muffins again! As a matter of fact I'm going to the kitchen to make some more right now! Thanks Giada wonderful recipe!

Try substituting Nutella for the frosting, it's a great combination and I think Giada would approve!

I used sea salt for the salt because it is healthier. I used five bananas to get more banana flavor. I would use less butter next time for the frosting. I found it to taste more on the butter side than on the cream cheese side.

I did these without the frosting - the muffins were fantastic! They were such a big hit! I'm making them again for a shower and adding chocolate chips.

So delicious! No need for the frosting, sweet enough without it. My family loves them.

Outstanding! I did change it up a tiny bit though. I was in the mood for a snack, not a dessert, so I cut the sugar in half. I used all whole grain white wheat flour - scant cupfulls so it wouldn't be dry; by the way, keep whole wheat flour in the fridge, or else it develops a bad taste after a week or two - and added a splash of lemon juice for extra lift, since I was using the whole wheat. I didn't make the frosting because I was going to use up some leftover cream cheese icing, but I didn't even frost them, they were so good by themselves. Next time I might cut down the salt a smidge as well.

The muffins turned out moist and tasty! But too sweet for me. I'll definitely make this again and cut-down the amount sugar.

AWESOME! I didn't do the icing because I was looking for something more breakfast-y and these are perfect! I followed the directions exactly and it yielded 24 equally-sized muffins.
