I am a new cook, trying to cook more dishes from scratch, and I wanted to try this out despite it being labeled "intermediate". I thought the directions were very easy to follow and straightforward, and the ingredients were not that foreign or hard to find! I found that the filling made some extra, more than needed to fill the manicotti, so I just put it on top and it came out great! Thanks Chef!

Very easy to make. I do however use 1/2 pound ground beef and 1/2 pound mild Italian sausage for better flavor. Additionally, as others have stated, I use 1 1/2 boxes of Manicotti Shells as the mixture makes enough to stuff all 21 shells jammed full!

Mmmmm! Absolutely delish! I made this last night and it was a really tasty dish. I also added some chopped spinach for that extra flavor. But without it, I know it would have been amazing anyway. I would definitely make this again and highly recommend it. Once again, Giada does wonders.

Now I know what awaits in heaven. A little off on the prep/active time, but so worth it. Very easy, very tasty and even better as a leftover. I could not believe how much I did not know from other recipes. Making the pasta her way makes stuffing so much more successful..Might I suggest a 6 star rating?

Just made this recipe, and my family cleaned their plates! I also tweaked a couple things.. I used ground turkey, that I added extra seasonings to and I added beef sausages. I also used an italian blend of cheeses in addition to the ricotta. Next time I am going to use italian sausage and mushrooms

This is outstanding! A few sugestions some from former reviewer's others just me. Go with 50% beef, 50% sausage. I use some hot but mostly sweet itialian sausage. Brown with the onion and garlic, and add italian seasoning. I stronly suggest use a homemade sauce, and obviously cheese mixtures are up to you. I have been amazed how everyone seems to enjoy this meal. Play with it and have fun! (PS I never follow a recipe to the T, and rarely comment but this one was well worth it.

I made this using ground turkey instead of beef. It was delicious. My family is picky and everyone absolutely loved it. This will be a regular on our menu.

The cheese filling was very bland, the meat had no flavor. I even added about a tsp. of Italian seasoning to the filling. The recipe was not too bad but I have made better stuffed shells. I think this recipe would be better with Italian Sausage instead of ground beef.

This thing was delicious!!! I had to double the recipe because I had a few friends over and ran out of moz, so I used provolone to cover the second one and it came out better then the first. I loved both dishes though.
